Konversi KWH ke Liter Mesin Diesel

Buat yang lagi nyari bagaimana efisiensi sistem pembangkit yang kita rancang, ini ada contoh konversi sederhana dari kwh ke liter pembangkit generator diesel (KBBI : diesel / disel ?!).

According U.S. DoE, Energy Density Gasoline (Diesel Machine): 137380 BTU/gal = 38.29 Mega Joule/Litre
– Typical 150 KW(KVA) Diesel Generator uses 34.6 Litre/Hour
(34.6 L/H for 100 % Load, 26.1 L/H for 75% Load; These data is gotten from datasheet )

Equation in One Hour Use:
Input = 38.29 MJ/L x 34.6 L/H = 1324.834 MJ
Output = 150 KW x 1 Hour = 150 KWh = 540 MJ
Efficiency = Out / In x 100% = 38.994%
Output Diesel (electrical output from WT and PV system) = 12×400 Wh + 5×600 Wh = 7.8 KWh
Input Diesel = 7.8 KWh / 38.994% = 20.003 KWh = 72.0108 MJ
Input in Litre = 72.0108 (MJ) / 38.29 (MJ/L)
= 1.8511 Litre

Jadi sistem hibrid Wind Turbine (WT) dan Solar Cell (PV) yang dirancang menghasilkan energi (yg diarep2) sekitar 7.8 KWh / day atau setara dengan 1.851 liter bahan bakar mesin diesel.
